Pentecost Sermon Series: Faith on Fire

This three-week sermon series leads us to see the powerful work of God thorough fire. Be prepared to be challenged to experience this great gift, the Holy Spirit, that we all received in some ways.

Scripture: Acts 2:1-13, Acts 2:14-21

Our expectation of the 21st century’s Pentecost might differ from the Day of Pentecost in the Acts of the Apostles. However, we believe in the same Spirit, inviting everyone to the Church, binding us together, and showing us miracles, wonders, and signs every day of our lives.

June 4 – “Faith on Fire: Moses, Follow the Pillar of Fire by Night!” (Communion Sunday)

Scripture: Exodus 13:17-22

The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night guide the Israelites in the wilderness and do not depart from before them. The pillar of cloud would not be seen at night, so God chose the pillar of fire instead. God always chooses the best way to guide our path.

June 11 – “Faith on the Fire: Daniel, Be Courageous in the Fire!”

Scripture: Daniel 3:19-29

When Daniel’s three Jewish friends risk themselves in the fiery furnace, their faith miraculously saves their lives, and the name of God is praised by the whole Babylonians.
