February – March Sermon Series: “Heroes of the Faith”
Heroes aren't just found in comic books and blockbuster movies—they exist in real life too. These are people whose courage, strength, and resilience serve as models for our own lives. In this sermon series, we will explore three remarkable heroes from the Old Testament. Their willingness to listen to God’s voice and act on it inspires us to do the same.
February 19 – “Deborah”
Scripture: Judges 4:4-11, 5:1-9
Deborah, a prophetess and judge, answered God's call with boldness and led Israel to victory. Her story reminds us that God is at work, calling us into partnership with Him—let us sing a song of praise for His faithfulness!
February 23 – “Rahab”
Scripture: Joshua 2:1-14
Rahab’s bold faith and courage were pivotal in God’s plan. Despite her circumstances, her willingness to act shows us that sometimes we must step out in faith, even when it’s risky. Her story reminds us that God uses unlikely people to fulfill His purpose.
March 2 – “Esther”
Scripture: Esther 3:13, 4:13-17
Esther steps into her God-given role “for such a time as this.” Her courage reminds us that God
has placed us exactly where we are to be His agents, bringing about His purpose in our world.
