Youth Mission Trip

Jeremiah Project Information: The Youth Mission Trip “Jeremiah Project” will be July 9 thru July 15 in Romney, WV. Youth, visiting 6th graders and older are welcome to join the mission trip to serve as hands and feet of Jesus Christ. Please contact Ms. Darlene, Next Generation Ministries Director at drunaldue@wesleyvienna.org, if your student is interested.

CHO

Committee for Helping Others (CHO) is a non-profit organization in Vienna, serving the neighbors in need in the community.

The Lamb Center

The Lamb Center is a daytime drop-in shelter for poor and individuals experiencing homelessness in the Fairfax area.

Second Story

Second Story helps the life of families in the community in many different ways, such as Teen Shelter, Resource Center, Shared Living.

Shepherd's Center

Shepherd’s Center is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the senior citizens in the community through supportive services.

Food for Others

A local food pantry that works with Wesley to feed the children at Freedom Hill Elementary School through the Power Pack Program.

Walter Reed Hospital

Wesley participates in Wounded Warrior Project to support the life of veterans at Walter Reed Hospital.

UWF Salvation Army Stockings

As part of our mission work, the Wesley United Women in Faith (UWF) will coordinate the filling of Salvation Army Stockings again this year. Stockings to fill for children of various ages will be available this Sunday. What fun to shop for toys and other items for kids with this outreach program! The deadline for returning them will be Sunday, November 24.

Coat Drive

Wesley Missions will hold a coat drive on Sunday, November 10, following the 10 am worship. Everyone of all ages is invited to join to sort the items and bless others in need. Please gather your gently used coats, sweaters, hats, gloves, winter scarves, snow suits, snow pants to support men, women, children, and teens in our Vienna Community. Please bag your items and drop them off outside under the Breezeway or into the Fellowship Hall beginning on Sunday, November 3, until next Sunday, November 10 by noon.
