Wesley Day 2021

Wesley Day is Wesley’s annual celebration of our ministries. Remembering the purpose of our presence and mission in our community, Wesley invites all to our celebration on Sunday,September 12, 2021.

Theme: Stories Keep Running Through

The pandemic has stopped many things in our lives. But we have never stopped. In missions for homeless neighbors and people in Haiti, we continued to share. Online or in-person, or both, our worship has continued. Youth participated in local missions, and families and children continued to grow through Sunday school and Vacation Bible Schoo. Wesley will never stop our mission. We will keep loving, caring, serving, and sharing. Our stories keep running through!

Worship Service

Join us in our service at 10:00 am. There will be a blended service (contemporary and traditional) for everyone. There will be a moment that a member of Wesley Youth shares her mission experience during this summer!

Donation Drives

It will also be a big day of donation drive. All donated items will go to Wesley’s local mission partners, and will continue to bless the lives of our neighbors. Check out the list of items in need HERE and bring your donation to the church! Donations will be received until noon on Wesley Day. You may want to know where the donations would go:
Committee for Helping Others (CHO) runs food banks for families in Vienna
The Lamb Center helps neighbors without shelter.
Second Story Resource Center is in Falls Church, and supports the life of families in need
Rising Hope is a United Methodist ministry that assists sisters and brothers in Alexandria

*Wesley will also continue Medical Supply Drive for Haiti until Wesley Day. We will do packaging job of the project!
